Back to School This is the Year Ministry Web Banner

Student Life is intentionally designed to meet students at many levels. Our goal is to create environments where students are encouraged to make wise choices, positively influence their friends, experience personal ministry through serving others and ultimately live life for Christ.

Some events are designed for students who just want to dip their toe in the water, find out a little bit more about the whole Christian “thing”, and maybe make a few new friends. While other events are designed to help students grow as a disciple and learn to follow Christ more fully each day.  If you are in 6th-12th grade this is the place for you.  Everyone is welcome!

Sunday Nights
Sunday Night Student Life is a place of celebration, laughter, acceptance, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Student Life meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday night to bring together students of all spiritual levels to discover God’s potential for their lives.

Most Sundays focus on building relationships, discussing current social concerns and connecting the Bible to real life situations. Students eat a great dinner prepared by our adults, play games, and have a blast learning about God! During the year we also have SNO (Student Night Out) events, service opportunities, mission experiences and more.

2nd and 4th Sundays from 6:00-7:30pm. Be sure to check the calendar for details.

Confirmation
Confirmation literally means to “make firm.” It is a time for students to commit/affirm their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to better understand the Christian faith, and learn the privileges and obligations of baptism and full church membership. The season is three months of classes, a service project, and various fellowship outings with their peers, teachers, and Faith Partners.

Our next confirmation class will begin in 2017. Details to come.
