Here are ways you can help…

  • Prayer – There are many ways in which to pray, but here a few groups to consider…families who lost loved ones during the storms, those who lost homes/business/possessions, emergency response teams, community leaders, city officials and those who are wanting to offer support. Pray that God will comfort the broken, carry the weary and give strength for the difficult journey ahead.

  • Financial Donations
    • Flood Relief Buckets – Living Life UMC will be assembling Flood Relief Buckets. A completed Flood Bucket costs $65. A financial donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase flood bucket supplies. You may donate online through our partner church FUMC Allen’s secure website. Select fund “Living Life Church” and add the memo “Flood Bucket.” Click Here to Donate.
    • The United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) works on-site and directly with disaster coordinators and early response teams to help those in need. UMCOR is committed to the short and long term needs of recovery.  100% of your donation goes directly to disaster-affected areas. Click Here to donate.

  • Physical Donations – The distribution infrastructure for many disaster areas often takes days or weeks to get up and running. Please donate only the items requested to help ensure the effectiveness of recovery efforts.
    • Living Life Church is collecting specific donations that have been requested by relief organizations. You may bring your donations to Living Life Church on Sundays from 10:30-11:30am during the month of September. We will have the items delivered to those in need.
      • Items Needed: Diapers / wipes / formula / new socks and underwear / flip-flops
    • You may also donate additional items to Trusted World who will coordinate the delivery of items to devastated areas.  Click Here for details.
